Automated extraction, classifications, calculations, comparisons and due-date reminders may be incomplete or incorrect if source information is missing, inaccurate, unusual or incorrectly interpreted. The authorised company representative must review and approve the accounting and tax information before finalisation.

SARS: The company remains responsible for verifying the applicable SARS return, tax treatment, filing/payment deadline, amount submitted and amount paid. A reminder or calculation displayed by Annually is not proof that a SARS obligation has been met.

VAT: A bank payment or invoice does not automatically create an input-VAT entitlement. Evidence validity, business purpose/use and VAT treatment must be separately confirmed.

Professional assurance: Annually output is not an audit, independent review, assurance opinion or registered tax-practitioner service unless a separate written engagement expressly says otherwise.

Where a transaction, balance, tax position or legal issue is uncertain or material, users should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified accountant, registered tax practitioner or lawyer.
